Green Cush Review
Andy’s Review on Green Cush by Canaca 24.9% THC
Grown in Enniskillen Ontario, this strain was pretty decent! The buds in the 3.5g container were a nice size with not too much loose leaf or pistol hairs. The buds were a bright pale green colour with a light hue of orange. They were also covered in a noticeable amount of sugary looking trichomes. Briefly there was a noticeable lemon and hops scent but unfortunately there wasn’t much of a scent on these buds from that point on. They were a bit on the dry side when I first opened the can, though they weren’t bone dry dust nuggets, still a bit dryer then I’d like. The buds were still dense and didn’t break apart when squeezed but a few Boost packs helped with that though, they softened up a bit after some time. It did grind up very easily with no seeds or stems found in the pile I poured out of the grinder.
Smoked it out of a big bong with a big bowl. The smoke brewed up thick and very white, and hits right in the brains! Nothing for a body buzz but my eyes and mind were definitely feeling it! Though the toke was fairly weak tasting, the super cerebral high was very enjoyable. I found it smooth on both the inhale and exhale and didn’t cough really at all during my session. After 5 bowls I started to burn out but still had a good head high, no body buzz still so I wasn’t couch locked at all. I did get the munchies though!
To sum up, Canaca’s Green Cush made a great day time strain because of the lack of body high. Great for social sessions or solo hikes! Only negative things to say was it was a bit dry and weak in taste. After seeing multiple batches of this strain, I’ve always seen it come in at a high THC.
