Consuming hash is always an event that requires preparation.  The “high” comes on during the lengthy inhalation session and by the end of the session we are always Bombed.  This Dry Sift Hash begins with a very euphoric rise transforming into a hyper mental and sensory lift.  There is a euphoric “Raciness” in the air slowly entering our body to create a sense of acceleration.  The “high” continues to unfold over the first 15 minutes as the body tranquilizing effects emerge to sedate with a growing mental haze.  Tilray have redeemed themselves with this Black Beauty.

After the first hour, the “high” dropped in intensity is noticeable but still forceful.  The strong mental haze and body tranquilized create a perfect progression to a restful sleep.  We found some pictures of Hash from our past Amsterdam trips to compare the visual Blackness.  By the 2000, really good hash was already hard to find.  The best Hashish we have experienced was in the 1970s and 1980s.  While there is room for improvement for Canadian Hash production, this Dry Sift Hash from The Batch is moving in the right direction.

Activity pairing is best for the evening time slots.  This Dry Sift Hash delivers a heavy mental and physically relaxing “high,” which is great for any activity from a reclining or semi-prone position.

This Dry Sift Hash by The Batch is a very sticky and malleable hash.  The scent is reminiscent of black Afghani hash but the “high” is very different.  If memory serves us properly, this “high” is more like a Red Lebanese, which makes you weak in the knees.   The taste is not like the taste of the Hashish from the Middle East and Afghanistan, which are always sweet and fragrant.  This Dry Sift Hash is Canadian made Hashish, a bit harsher in taste.  But, the “high” is impactful.

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  The price is right for what we got, which was an excellent heavy Indica Hash.  If there is a complain, it is the packaging and a bit too moist.  Plastic package is a bad idea because the hash sticks to the plastic.  Wax paper is a better wrapper than plastic.  For fans of hashish, this is worth a try.
