Chocolate Mint OG Review
Marlena’s View 9/10
Hamilton grown Chocolate Mint OG is an indica dominant flower. Its lineage heralds from the greats of Emerald OG and Grandaddy Purple, showing a lot like the Emerald but giving more of a high like its GDP parent. My rating on this was 9 out of 10, wasn’t the heaviest buzz I have had so I cannot give it a 10 but I also can’t say anything bad about it.
There were deep green buds with beautiful orange hairs and a squishy feel to the fresh batch I opened. I read some reviews that it didn’t taste like chocolate but I do not agree. I smoked a nice size joint (probably a gram) and got the taste of chocolate and coffee at first toke in with hints of citrus and mint on exhale. Smooth smoking joint with a fluffy white ash that fell off without tapping.
Chocolate Mint OG has prominent amounts of Farnesene, which is one of the rarer terpenes talked about and not often found in cannabis. Farnesene is found in roses and skins of fruits like apples, it is known to have sedative effects. I enjoy the relaxed feeling after smoking this strain, and it eases my arthritic pains which is worth its weight in gold.
This local LP is putting out some quality bud, every Hamiltonian stoner needs to try Steel City Green.
Happy Toking,
Marlena M.
