Marlena’s Take!  10/10

The Pax pod system has converted me from the oil 510 cartridges I loved for so long. I  always enjoyed the convenience and discretion of the vape pens. There is no smoke produced and the smell is unlike cannabis, although flavors (terpenes) used are natural and come from plants or fruits.

  The Citrique pod by Namaste has extracted oil from their top selling strain of the same name. It has a floral and sweet citrus flavor, reminding me of exotic fruits like dragon fruit or mangos. The effects are fast acting, however I found it to have a creeper buzz also. Immediately after a puff or 2, on medium session control and 259 degrees, I felt that instant high relaxing my mind and leading into an uplifting euphoric high. This was at a low temperature, providing more flavor as opposed to more vapor. The setting gave a great taste and by limiting the dose (session) my oil will last longer.

  I was honestly skeptical as to whether the Pax system was worth converting to as I had happily used 510 cartridges for a few years now. I did however get used to opening them pull out the last of the oil with a needle to rub on papers because the last little bit wouldn’t burn and I am not one to throw out my cannabis. The fact that the pods are sure to burn to the last drop, never get clogged, and they actually do last longer for me is why I cannot go back to the cartridges. I have one that I got before my Pax Era and it’s too harsh for me now on the higher 2 heat settings, the lowest isn’t enough for a good toke…maybe I am just spoiled now but the Pax Era is my new 4:20 buddy.
