Marlena’s Take:

Upon opening my 3.5 bag I was greeted with a pleasant aroma of wood and fruits, with a dank undertone of diesel goodness. GMO Cookiez has that pungent aroma associated with the “Garlic” name. The buds were dark green, all medium sized, dense and powder coated with trichomes. Surprisingly, the bud was super fresh even though it did not include a humidity pack.

  The high is great, makes you feel happy and lifted before slowly creeping up into a all over body high. This is a hard hitting indica strain reaching high levels of THC (mine was 25%) and terpenes that tested at over 5%. Terpenes levels at such high rates tend to give longer lasting effects, much of the flower these days only hits 1-3% terps.

  It’s grown by licensed producer MELT, who hang dries their flower after growing it in hybrid greenhouses using LEDs and the sunlight. These guys are proving their expertise by showcasing a top shelf product using innovative growing techniques. A common cultivar now grown by many of the LPs, this one is my new go to for a heavy indica and the best version of this strain I have tried so far.
