Point Break cultivated by Qwest, is an indica dominant hybrid cross between Tropicana Cookies and Trophy Wife. This stuff reeks of oranges immediately after opening with undertones of sweet skunkiness. I also read it was supposed to be minty but I never got that smell or taste.

Hand trimmed, iced out buds with one big 2.5g nug and a couple smaller ones. Wasn’t dry at all due to the boveda and package date but this is definitely one of the nicest smelling legal strains I’ve ever had.

What I enjoyed most was the taste being absolutely on point with the smell. Smoked in a bong, the ash wasn’t as white as I normally like but it wasn’t super black either and it burned nicely, nor did I hack my face off after my toke. Nothing but a creamy orange taste on the exhale with a subtle hint of fuel.

The high was a creeper for me, I found myself in my kitchen staring at a wall not too long after my toke. After about an hour or so I was still stoned, relaxed and my back pain had dissipated. This would be a great morning/afternoon smoke for myself as I found it had more of a sativa leaning effect with no couch lock or weed naps necessary.

Now the million dollar question, is this stuff worth $70 for a half quarter? “Worth” is pretty subjective, but for me, this stuff was worth every penny. I absolutely loved the taste and smell, and I find I smoke less when the high is strong and long lasting.
